The team

A small team building
a big argument.

Building a new architecture for intelligence, in the open. SeKondBrain exists because we believe understanding — not scale — is the next frontier of AI, and that conviction runs through how we’re built as much as what we build. This page is who we are and how we work.

Kognitivo — how we work

Everyone here is Kognitivo.

A flat organisation of builders — not an old-school hierarchy.

Most companies our age already have layers: managers who manage, specialists who stay in their lane, and a gap between the people who decide and the people who build. We’re organised differently, and we have a word for it: Kognitivo.

Being Kognitivo means everyone builds. There are no specialist silos and no pure managers — the person who wrote the paper ships the code; the person who designed the brand runs the deck; the founder commits to the repo. Everyone owns their piece end to end, and everyone can reach the whole map, because the frontier moves every morning and a hierarchy is a queue.

It’s the company organised the way the product argues intelligence should be: no silos, shared memory, and understanding that compounds instead of waiting for sign-off.

The people

The people, and what they’ve actually built.

No titles-first bios. Each person is shown with the things they’ve worked on — because what you’ve built says more than what you’re called.

building the concept-memory layer missing from AI; meaning over tokens, context that compounds.

Where we came from

What happened next.

Most of this team built together before — at Builder.ai, scaled to more than 1,000 people and a valuation approaching $2bn. That road did not end the way anyone wanted, and what it taught is structural here: bootstrapped, science before story, claims only at the size of their evidence. Roughly three-quarters of us walked that road together and chose to build again. That choice — not any title — is this company’s founding credential.

How to reach us

The door’s open.

Builders — Community. Firms — Business. Researchers — Research. Investors — request the story. And if you think you might be Kognitivo — we’re small on purpose, but we’re always reading.
